From Austria to Latvia
For more than three decades the mail-order company Quelle, founded in 1927, had been active in Germany only. But as early as 1959, Gustav Schickedanz founded Quelle Austria, in 1962 followed by Quelle Luxembourg.
Today, Quelle operates Europe-wide in 15 countries with their own dispatch centres. More than 2,300 people work for Quelle abroad. Our company’s international sales amount to about a quarter of the sales total and are supposed - as for the Primondo-Group - to be increased to 50 per cent in the medium term. And no wonder! After all, internationalisation is one of our strategic foci.
