Quelle Group has a staff of 7.705. For Primondo Group 23.000 employees work both in Germany and abroad. 


The Quelle main catalogue
has a print run of 9 million copies in Germany per season. In addition, Quelle publishes 23 specialised catalogues.



 

New Media
On an annual average, 38 per cent of all orders are placed on the Internet. With 800,000 products on offer, quelle.de already generates 40 per cent of Quelle’s sales total. In this FY’s first eight months, the number of visits doubled when compared with the preceding year’s reference period.

Ecological improvement process
 

Commerce – for the environment! Quelle takes this principle quite seriously: About 90 per cent of all Quelle refrigerators and washing machines conform with the very economical energy efficiency class A. 75 per cent of Universum appliances need less than three watt when in stand-by mode. Health is another of Quelle’s concerns. More than 40 per cent of all textiles conform with Ökotex Standard 100 and are thus “gentle to the skin since tested for harmful substances”.

Leipzig mail order centre

The Dispatch Centre Leipzig was opened in 1995 and is among the world’s most modern. The daily dispatch rate is up to 180,000 parcels with about 771,000 individual items.

Nice to know...
The entire German mail order market turned over around 20 billion Euro in 2007. Quelle shares of this market totals more than 15 percent.

Profectis
Profectis is the largest technical customer service in German commerce. It has a nationwide staff of 1.200, 650 thereof home technicians. Since 2006 Profectis is "Tüv-Service tested".

Quelle Institut für Warenprüfung
is a quality inspection institute officially accredited by DAP - Deutsches Akkreditierungssystem für Prüfwesen (German accreditation system for quality inspection) - in Berlin. A staff of more than 120 tests more than 20,000 items and carries out more than 2 m spot checks per year. The result: more than 850 "very good " and "good" ratings by "Stiftung Warentest" (an independent goods quality test foundation) for Quelle items.
