Environmental organization
The Quelle Environmental Management System is based on an effective organization of operational environmental protection incorporating all employees. The environmental activities are the responsibility of the chairman of the executive board and are co-ordinated centrally by the Environmental Department.

The Quelle Environmental Representative
The Environmental Representative of Quelle is appointed by the executive board and reports directly to the chairman of the executive board. The responsibilities of the Quelle Environmental Representative include setting up, implementing and developing the Quelle Environmental Management.
Environmental Working Group a strategic steering group
The Environment Working Group acts as the steering group for environmental protection in the company and is headed by the chairman of the executive board. The group discusses strategic environmental subjects and are prepares them for decision by the executive board or the departmental managers.
Arrangement of responsibilities in departments: the Environmental Representative in departments
The responsibility for compliance with the environmental management provisions in the individual departments rests with the head of each department. The head of the department is supported by at least one Environmental Representative for the department. The responsibility of this Environmental Representative is to keep track of the environmental objectives for the specific department and to inform, motivate and advise the employees on ecological matters. The Environmental Representatives of the departments together form the environmental network of Quelle.
