Quelle launches its own catalogue in Serbia
Fürth/Belgrade. 18.08.2005 Quelle continues its internationalisation strategy consistently and now launches its own Serbian company. Over the next few days, customers there will receive a Quelle catalogue in their own language, with prices given in their currency. Quelle is now present with its own catalogues and companies in 18 countries.
The autumn/winter catalogue for Serbia has about 240 pages and 120,000 copies will be sent out. More than 1,200 items can be ordered either by postcard, phone or fax. The range of products is based upon the German main catalogue and comprises ladieswear, menswear, children’s wear, home textiles and smaller household goods. Payment is COD in dinar.
Quelle is going to publish catalogues in Serbia on a regular basis and to gradually increase both the number of items and advertising media’s circulation. It is this Quelle commitment’s declared objective to attain leadership in the expanding Serbian market.
In the European mail-order trade, KarstadtQuelle AG (Essen) has launched a market offensive which has never been seen before. The two mail-order companies of the group, Quelle and Neckermann, in the financial years 2005 and 2006 are going to expand their internationalisation substantially with more than ten market entries and a focus on central and south-eastern Europe.
Until the end of 2006, Quelle will commence its mail-order business in Bulgaria, Lithuania, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and the Ukraine. In future, Neckermann’s catalogues will also be available in Greece, Lithuania, Macedonia, Russia, Hungary and Romania.
